Lekuka document types, all built in: receipts, tax invoices, credit notes, debit notes and payouts.

1

System for tills, stock, cash and invoicing. No exports, no re-keying, no second login.

24 h

Fiscal days watched around the clock and closed before RSL's limit, so no day runs over.

2-step

Verification on every change of role and every entry to admin mode.

Lekuka e-invoicing, done properly

Lekuka compliance isn't an add-on. It's how Marshal was built.

Every sale is signed on your fiscal device, numbered in sequence and filed with Lekuka as it happens. Before a document leaves the till, Marshal checks it against RSL's own rulebook — so a receipt RSL would flag is fixed at the counter, not discovered at the end of the day when the day can no longer close.

  • Receipts, tax invoices, credit and debit notes, and payouts — all five Lekuka documents.
  • A QR code and verification code on every slip, so customers can confirm it with RSL.
  • RSL slow or unreachable? The till keeps selling, and receipts are filed in order as soon as RSL answers.
  • Spots a fiscal day that has drifted out of step with RSL and brings it back into line.

One platform

Everything behind the counter, in one place.

The till, the stockroom, the cash office and the invoicing desk share the same records. What is sold is off the shelf, in the drawer and filed with RSL in the same moment.

Cash control

Know where every loti is — till, drop, safe and bank.

Cashier sessions with opening floats, witnessed cash drops, a safe ledger and a close-out that shows exactly what the drawer should hold. A shortfall needs a manager's sign-off, and every shop's end-of-day report arrives in your inbox on its own.

  • Witnessed drops and a running safe ledger
  • Till variances approved, never quietly written off
  • End-of-day report emailed for each shop, at the time you choose
  • An alert when too much cash is sitting in a shop

Invoicing & receivables

Tax invoices cleared with RSL the moment you issue them.

Quotations become invoices, invoices are cleared with Lekuka at issue — paid or on account — and receivables age from the due date, so you know who to call first. Rent, retainers and fees can bill themselves every period.

  • Quotation to invoice to payment, tracked end to end
  • Recurring invoices on a schedule you set
  • Credit and debit notes — the lawful way to correct an invoice
  • Bring invoices in from Xero, Sage or a spreadsheet

  • Access requests and time-limited grants
  • Two-step codes by email or authenticator app

Why Marshal

Four things that matter on the busiest day of the month.

Checked before it's filed

RSL's rules run on every document before it leaves the till. A mistake is caught while the customer is still at the counter.

Never waits on RSL

A slow or unreachable RSL never holds up the queue at the counter. Sales carry on and are filed in order as soon as RSL answers.

One set of records

The receipt, the stock movement and the cash all come from the same sale. There is nothing to reconcile by hand.

Answerable to an inspector

Every receipt carries RSL's verification code, and every change carries a name and a time.

And the rest

Built for the way shops really trade.

Payouts & petty cash

Money paid out, recorded and filed as a payout notice when RSL requires one.

QR on every receipt

Customers can check any receipt with RSL in seconds.

Stock takes that add up

Assigned counters, variance approval, and shrinkage told apart from stock that moved.

Purchasing

From requisition to purchase order to goods received, dated and costed.

End-of-day in your inbox

Each shop's Z report emailed at the time you choose.

Reports that close the month

Sales, stock, cash and a ledger journal your accountant can import.

Quotations that convert

A quote becomes an invoice or a sale in one step, with nothing typed twice.

Kits & variants

Sizes, colours, packs and assembled kits sold as one line.

Marshal Fiscal API

Already have a system? File through ours.

Your ERP, your own till software or a nightly spreadsheet export: send us the invoice and Marshal signs it, numbers it and files it with RSL, then hands back the receipt numbers, verification code and QR link to print.

  • A REST API with a full sandbox — build against test keys before filing anything
  • Signed webhooks when RSL accepts, flags or refuses a document
  • An upload portal for systems that can only export a file
  • Credit and debit notes checked against RSL's rules before they are filed

Getting started on Lekuka

From activation key to first receipt.

01
Enrol your fiscal device

Enter the device ID and activation key RSL issues. Marshal generates the keys, registers the device and loads your tax table.

02
Load your shop

Add your categories and products, set up tills, users and payment methods, and open each shop — our step-by-step guide walks you through every screen.

03
Start trading

Receipts file as you sell, fiscal days are closed before RSL's limit, and the end-of-day report arrives by email.

Rather set it up yourself? The guide names every screen, in order.

Questions

What people ask before they switch.

What is Lekuka, and is Marshal ready for it?

Lekuka is the e-invoicing system run by Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL). Marshal was built for it: every receipt, tax invoice, credit note, debit note and payout is signed, numbered and filed with RSL as you trade, and every slip carries RSL's QR code and verification code.

Do we need a separate fiscal device?

No separate box. Enter the device ID and activation key RSL issues for each shop, and Marshal generates the keys, registers the device with RSL and signs every document itself. You need a computer or tablet with a web browser, and a receipt printer if you print slips.

What happens when RSL is down?

The till keeps selling. Each receipt is signed and numbered as usual and waits in a queue, and Marshal files the queue with RSL in order as soon as RSL answers — within the same fiscal day. Nothing is lost and nothing is filed twice.

Can we run more than one shop?

Yes. Any number of shops and warehouses under one account, each with its own fiscal device, tills and stock, and transfers between them. People can hold different roles in different shops.

Do you handle VAT-exempt and zero-rated goods, and levies?

Yes. Every product carries its tax treatment from your own RSL tax table, levies included, and the receipt shows each tax exactly as RSL records it.

Can our accounting software connect?

Invoices can come in from Xero and Sage Business Cloud Accounting, and the period's ledger journal exports for your accountant. Any other system can file through the Marshal Fiscal API.

How is our data protected?

Each company's records are separated at the database level, fiscal signing keys are encrypted, and sensitive actions — changing a role, entering admin mode — need a second, one-time code.

See Marshal run your shop.

We'll walk you through a full day's trading — the first sale, a cash drop, a stock transfer, a tax invoice and the end-of-day report — on your own products.
